On the one hand, the provider of the products, SOC CHEF, S.L.U. (hereinafter also the "Provider"), with registered office at Llevant 8, 25300 Tàrrega, (Lleida), N.I.F. B25554114, Customer Service phone number 973313751, and e-mail: info@socchef.com, being the owner of the website WWW.SOCCHEF.COM, exposes the contractual document that will govern the contracting of products. And on the other hand, the "User - Client" (hereinafter the User), with full responsibility for the veracity of the personal data submitted to the provider.

The Parties BOTH ACCEPT this document, with the following implications whereas the User:

a. Has read, understood and agreed with this text.

b. Declares being a person of legal age and with sufficient capacity to enter into agreements and be bound to the conditions herein inserted.

c. To assume all the obligations set forth herein.

d. You have read and accepted these general purchasing conditions from the moment you purchase any of the products that are offered.

This document can be printed and stored by the Users.

In case the Users have any questions regarding these conditions, they may contact the Provider through their contact e-mail address, info@socchef.com.

The present conditions will have an indefinite period of validity and will be applicable to all the agreements made through the website of the Provider. The Provider, with the objective of improving the products offered, reserves the right to unilaterally modify these General Contracting Conditions, without it affecting the goods or special offers that were acquired prior to the modification. In any case, these general conditions must be reviewed prior to purchasing the products. It is advisable that you keep a copy of the data included within the purchased products.

The civil liability of SOC CHEF, S.L.U. for the products supplied is limited to the amount of the same, and at the same time, the User waives to claim any liability to the Provider for any case related to the dissatisfaction of the products purchased on the website WWW.SOCCHEF.COM. SOC CHEF, S.L.U. is a company specialized in the remote sale of food products, ingredients and utensils.

SOC CHEF S.L.U. sells its products remotely. SOC CHEF S.L.U. doesn’t own any physical store for the sale of products.



2.1 Scope of application: The purpose of this agreement is to regulate the contractual purchase-sale relationship between the Provider and the User, which begins at the moment the User accepts by checking the corresponding box during the online contracting process, implying their acknowledgement and agreement to these purchasing conditions. These GCC will apply from the day the order is placed.

The contractual purchase-sale relationship includes the delivery of a specific product, in exchange for a specific price that is publicly exposed through the website.

2.2 Legal capacity: To be able to place an order, you must be of legal age and have the required legal capacity to contract.

2.3 Consent of the Client: The validation of an order implies the automatic acceptance of the GCC. These conditions if desired and requested can be made available to you by email.

2.4. Modification of the General Contracting Conditions: SOC CHEF, S.L.U. reserves the right to make changes and / or modifications to these GCC. We advise our clients to check and review them regularly. In the event that these changes or modifications were introduced after an order was placed, the conditions that will apply will be those of the date on which the order was placed.


2.5 Protection of Information of Personal Character: In accordance with the established in the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 relative to the Protection of the natural persons regarding the processing of Personal information and to the free traffic of this information, as well as in the Law 34/2002, of Services of the Company of the Information and of the Electronic Trade (LSSICE or LSSI) and the Law 15/1999, of December 13, of Protection of Information of Personal Character, certifies that the personal information got for SOC CHEF, S.L.U. will happen to form a part of a file of ownership of this company, with the only purpose of managing the obligations of turnover, fiscal, commercial and of accounting. SOC CHEF, S.L.U. compromises himself to the fulfillment of his obligation of secret of the information of personal character and of his duty to guard them, as well as of adopting the necessary measures to avoid his alteration, loss, treatment or not authorized access, given at all time of the condition of the technology. It will be possible to exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition, by means of written request directed SOC CHEF, S.L.U., P.I.Riambau, c/Llevant 8, 25300 Tàrrega (Lleida) with the reference: " Protection of Personal Information ".



3.1 Publication of prices: Exceptionally, the prices of the products shown on our website can be specified with errors and show a lower price than the actual corresponding price. In such event, and if we have already confirmed your order, we will contact you immediately in order to issue a new order confirmation that includes the correct price. In cases in which the actual corresponding price is higher, you can cancel your order and we will reimburse you for any amount that you have already paid.

3.2 Product information: The information contained in our advertising, brochures, and other written material, that can be either shown on our website or provided by our any of our agents and/or employees, all constitute an invitation to make a deal. This information does not constitute an offer to supply any product on our behalf.

The contents of WWW.SOCCHEF.COM are constantly renewed and updated in order to offer our clients the most complete and detailed information possible. As a result, it is possible that the contents may show, on exceptional occasions, provisional information in relation to some of the products. In the event that the information provided does not correspond to the characteristics of the product, the client will have the right to cancel the purchase without any cost on their behalf.

3.3 Availability of the product(s): There may be occasions when it could be impossible to supply all the products, which could be because they are either not in stock or available at the time of purchase. In these cases, we will contact you to give you a choice between the following options:

a) choice of an alternative product, with similar characteristics of the product to be replaced;

b) In case you prefer to wait for the product to be available in the store again, we may communicate with you once the product is available.

If you decline to any of the above-indicated options, the order related to these products will be canceled and any amount paid for them will be reimbursed.

3.4 Right of Cancellation: SOC CHEF, S.L.U. reserves the right for this action (right of cancellation), which is an action consisting in not sending a specific product that does not meet the quality requirements imposed on all products of WWW.SOCCHEF.COM. In the event that this lack of quality is detected, the Customer Service of SOC CHEF, S.L.U. will suggest a replacement product and, if the replacement product is not of the client's liking, the cost of said product will be reimbursed.

3.5 Fraud: If any anomaly or fraud is suspected and detected, SOC CHEF S.L.U reserves the right to cancel the transaction for security reasons.

3.6. Use of the products: SOC CHEF, S.L.U. does not guarantee the suitability of the product for a different use of certainly and I specify in the data sheet. In case of resale of the product for the buyer, this one will support SOC CHEF, S.L.U. unscathed opposite to the claim of any third party because of the use started to the same one.



The User, to be able to realize the order, regarding to the products offered by the lender in his catalogue, will have to contact either over telephone, e-mail, or commercial order (logistica@socchef.com), realizing the wished order. The delivery times communicated by SOC CHEF, S.L.U is always approximate.

SOC CHEF, S.L.U. will provide Customer Service in a FREE manner, through our contact email info@socchef.com. If you choose an alternative method of communication, the User is responsible for bearing all costs pertaining to such chosen method. The contact phone is 973 313 751.



SOC CHEF, S.L.U. is exonerated from any responsibility in case of force major and / or fortuitous in agreement with the concept of the same one contained in the Civil Code as justifying cause of the non-compliance of an obligation, having this consideration any other cases of external circumstances to  SOC CHEF, S.L.U., where there is not possible the fulfillment of the obligation. SOC CHEF, S.L.U. will be able to solve the contract and / or order by means of notification written to the buyer and without this incurs no type of responsibility for its part.

The delivery will be considered completed once the carrier has made the products available to the User and the latter, or the delegate of the latter, has signed the delivery receipt.

The User is responsible of verifying the product(s) upon receipt and manifesting all the reservations and claims that may be justified in the delivery receipt.

Except agreement between the parts explicity, the form of payment of the producers will be 30 (thirty) days counting from the date of exit of the material and / or invoice, without prejudice that the above mentioned term is checked in case there exists a precedent of non-payment, delay of payment or the same one rejected by the credit company.

The delay of payment, it will generate without the necessity of a reminder or intimidation, the moralty interest in favour of this one equivalent to the Legal Interest to one more month a surcharge of 2 % (two per cent). Any claim executed by the buyer, will not authorize him to disregard the payment of any invoice.

In accordance with the provisions of article 68 of Law 37/1992, of December 28, on Value Added Tax, the delivery of the products or services shall be understood to be located in the territory of application of the Spanish VAT, if the delivery address is in Spanish territory, except for the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla. The applicable VAT rate will be the current legally valid one at all times, pertaining to the specific article in question. For orders destined to the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, deliveries will be exempt from VAT, in compliance of the provisions set forth in Article 21 of Law 37/1992, without prejudice to the application of taxes and duties in accordance with the regulations in force in each of these territories.)

The prices offered by SOC CHEF S.L.U., may be object of modification. In this case SOC CHEF, S.L.U. will notify the buyer and will take effect at the same moment of the notification. In case that SOC CHEF, S.L.U. modifies the price after being confirmed the order, the buyer reserves the right to reject the order. The buyer renounce demanding responsibility SOC CHEF, S.L.U., for hurts, losses and prejudices that the increase of the price has caused.

For the promotions of limited duration, the discount of the promotion will be applied as long as the order has been registered and concluded during the established promotion period.

The risk passes to the buyer at the moment that the material stays to his disposition in our stores, when the buyer takes charge of the transport. In the case that SOC CHEF, S.L.U. takes charge of the transport, the risk passes to the buyer at the moment of the delivery of the goods. For sales abroad, the distribution of risks and the transfer of property will be governed by the clause INCOTERM in effect that is agreed expressly.

There is established in the present contract reservation of product domain to assure the complete payment of the agreed price. In the case in which the buyer RESELLS products still not paid to SOC CHEF, S.L.U. it will yield any right on the same ones, including without limitative character, besides the credit right for the collection of his price, any indemnification that was owed to him by contractual responsibility or extracontractual, in whose case will facilitate all the information to SOC CHEF, S.L.U. and also in case of a third party.

Below we detail the available payment systems:

7.1 Domiciliary receipt: at the time of finalizing the order, the User will receive the instructions with the document SEPA document to pay the order. It is essential that the number of corresponding order and the name of the User is indicated in such document.

For orders outside the Community, payment is going to be made by transfer. The price of the shipping will be calculated according to the weight of the order, delivery charges shouwn at the end of the purchase are indicative and do not include any customs costs, if any, will be informed once the order has been completely processed. A proforma invoice is going to be received indicating the exact amount of the shipment and also the account number to be able to make the transfer. Once the payment has been received, we will proceed to the shipment of the order.

7.3 Payment by VISA: At the time of completing the order, the User will receive instructions to pay the order by 100% save VISA method.  



8.1 Delivery Address: The delivery of orders will be made at the delivery address freely designated by the User. In this way, the Provider does not assume any responsibility in those cases where the delivery of the product does not occur if the User has provided data that is false, inaccurate, or incomplete. The same happens in those cases where the delivery can’t be completed for reasons beyond control of the shipping company assigned for that purpose, such as the absence of the recipient.

SOC CHEF, S.L.U. will put all the means at your disposal so that your order is delivered within the time period that is shown on our website, on the date of issuance of the order confirmation.

8.2 Terms of delivery: These terms correspond to those established in the file of each product. In case the products not available at the time of purchase, our Customer Service Department can provide you with availability information and a delivery deadline.

SOC CHEF, S.L.U. will be able to realize partial deliveries with separated turnover of the same order. If you have requested several products in the same order, keep in mind that they may have different availability dates, in which case you could receive them on different dates. Please note that in the absence of availability of any of the references at the time of shipment, you have the right to cancel at any time before sending the order, by contacting our Customer Service through the following email address: info@socchef.com, where you shall supply the order number.

When the transport of the goods is chargeable to the Buyer, the estimated delivery time will be the putting in disposition of the goods in our stores.

SOC CHEF, S.L.U. will be able to suspend any delivery, if the buyer was not paying any defeated amount

8.3 Hurts in the delivery: The buyer, to the receipt of the material, is forced to realize a review of the quantity and quality of the received products, and in case of some anomaly must be indicate in the delivery note of the transport and communicated in writing to SOC CHEF, S.L.U., in 24 hours following the receipt of the goods. SOC CHEF, S.L.U. will not be responsible for the quality faults or quantity of the received products that are a result of the transport of the same ones, except if there is an agreement against, not those that come from fortuitous cause of major force.

SOC CHEF, S.L.U. only it will be responsible for the hidden faults that, not coming from a supposition of major force, one communicates to him authentically in the term determined by the current law. In case of defective product and that the buyer has communicated it to SOC CHEF, S.L.U., in the term and the conditions established in this Clause, SOC CHEF, S.L.U. it will proceed to indemnify the buyer in a reasonable term and as SOC CHEF, S.L.U. considers, reinstatement of the product or reimbursement of the price paid for the buyer.

SOC CHEF, S.L.U. will not be responsible for the hurts suffered by the product by a bad manipulation, storage and / or any other alteration of the product on the part of the buyer. SOC CHEF, S.L.U. guarantee does not extend over third persons different from the buyer.



9.1 Right of withdrawal: The User, regarding to the right of withdrawal introduced in the Law of Consumers and Users, in the supposition of food products is stipulated as an exception inside the same legal text.

9.2 Returns: If at the moment of the delivery, the product is defective or there is a fault that comes from an incident while it was being transported, it must be communicated within 12 hours from the reception in the e-mail logistica@socchef.com. On the other hand, relating to the fresh or perishable products, only will be possible the return in the next 12 hours to the reception of the order, for defective reasons but not for commercial motives. Once received the package with his original packing and verifies the defective reason, SOC CHEF, S.L.U. promises to change the defective product for another one equal  and it will take charge of the return and shipping costs. In the case that it could not be change, SOC CHEF, S.L.U. will return the amount to the client trough the same way with which the order was paid.

9.3 Return for mistake in the order on the part of SOC CHEF, S.L.U.: When the product does not correspond to that of the order, due to any mistake attributable to the company, the Client will have to communicate it for e-mail to the company as soon as possible; SOC CHEF, S.L.U. will run with the expenses of withdrawal of the product sent by mistake and delivery of the correspondent to that of the realized order.



The refunds will be managed by our department of quality, indicating this one the procedure to continue to request the evidence and justification.



11.1 Guarantee: All products offered through the website are completely original, unless otherwise indicated in their description.

1. Unless proven otherwise, it will be understood that the products are in accordance with the contract, as long as they meet all the requirements that are expressed below, except when due to the circumstances of the case, some of them are not applicable to them:

a) They are in conformity to the description made by SOC CHEF, S.L.U.

b) They are suitable for the uses to which products of the same type are ordinarily destined.

c) They are suitable for any special use required by the client when he has notified SOC CHEF, S.L.U. at the time of signing the contract, provided that he has admitted that the product is suitable for this use.

d) They present the usual quality and benefits of a product of the same type that the client can reasonably expect, considering the nature thereof and, where appropriate, the descriptions of the specific characteristics of the products made by SOC CHEF, S.L.U.

e) SOC CHEF, S.L.U. describes the details, technical characteristics, and photographs of the products provided by the manufacturer thereof, in a way that SOC CHEF S.L.U is not bound by these public statements.

2. The responsibility will not proceed for lacks of conformity that the Client knows or could not have ignored in the moment of the celebration of the contract or that have his origin in materials supplied by the User.

SOC CHEF, S.L.U. only will be responsible for the hurts and prejudices caused fraudulently in the fulfillment of his commitments. SOC CHEF, S.L.U. will be responsible for the delivered product responds to the technical specifications requested by the buyer, but it will not be responsible for the suitability of the product for the use to which the buyer destines it.

SOC CHEF, S.L.U. is not responsible for the lack of supply of a product for reason not attributable to the same one, notwithstanding that as soon as  this lack of supply is notified to him on the part of the manufacturer or supplier, this one put it in knowledge of the buyer and realize his better efforts for finding a product of similar characteristics.



If any clause included in these General Conditions is declared, either totally or partially, as null or void, such nullity or voidness will only affect that sole provision or the part of it that is null or void, implying that the remaining General Conditions will subsist, having said provision, or the affected part of the same, considered as being excluded.



These conditions will be governed or interpreted in accordance with Spanish legislation in those matters that are not expressly established. In reference to the products and services that are subject to these Conditions, the Provider and the User agree to submit any dispute that may arise in such matters, to the Courts pertaining to the domicile of the Provider (if it is a legal entity) or the User (if it is a natural person).

In the event that the User has its domicile outside of Spain, the Provider and the User, expressly waive any other forum, submitting to the Courts of the city of Barcelona (Spain).
